Description

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operates company approved vehicles
  • Responsible for the prompt and compliant pick-up and delivery of materials to various locations
  • Review bill of ladings for accuracy
  • Adhere to company instructions relating to delivery of materials.
  • Operate hand‑lift in a safely as needed to load vehicles.
  • Adhere to all city and state highway regulations pertaining to truck and load limits, safety regulations and set speed limits
  • Responsible for loading vehicle as needed.
  • Ensure normal vehicle repairs as well as required maintenance are performed as needed.
  • Operate and maintain equipment and/or hand tools used in the facility.
  • Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment as needed.
  • Utilize handling equipment to move raw material within the warehouse to machining locations in the facility.
  • Complete piece assembly, as needed.
  • Assist other operating personnel as necessary to support plant operation
  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must maintain clean driving record in good standing with law regulations as well as in accordance with company policy.
  • Must maintain safe working conditions and follow operator safety procedures.
  • Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
  • Independent self‑starter, able to perform without direct and explicit instructionli>
  • Must have a positive and professional attitude
  • Available to work weekends and overtime

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
