Cumberland Dairy has immediate job openings for skilled Plant Maintenance Technicians responsible for the care and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. This role ensures continued operation of production, packaging, and processing equipment and utility systems.

As a DFA brand, Cumberland Dairy offers competitive pay from $28 to $30 per hour, with a 12-hour rotating schedule and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience required in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and regulatory checks.
• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with capability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electro-mechanical equipment across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safety.

JOB SUMMARY

Cumberland Dairy has immediate job openings for skilled Plant Maintenance Technicians responsible for the care and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment. This position ensures the continued operation of machinery and equipment in an electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic capacity by completing planned and unplanned maintenance requirements on production, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems.

OUR TECHNICIANS FOR THIS POSITION START AT AN HOURLY RATE OF:

• Starting at $28 - $30/hour – based on skillset level and experience

SCHEDULE:

Weekly Wednesday-Saturday or Sunday-Wednesday (12-hour shifts)

Night Shift 6pm-6:30am

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Three years of experience required in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility
• Black Seal, High Pressure Boiler License preferred, preferably food and beverage industry
• Minimum one year experience with one or more technical experiences: Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC and/or HVAC
• Minimum one year experience with a variety of equipment including lubricating, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control, process control and packaging equipment
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English
• Must be able to legibly write entries for record keeping
• Must be able to handle basic hand tools
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend required for virtually the entire shift; occasionally required to climb or balance
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with capabilities to lift up to 80 pounds
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holiday
