Cumberland Dairy is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join their team in Bridgeton, NJ. The role focuses on maintaining electro-mechanical equipment to keep production running across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

As a farmer-owned DFA affiliate, Cumberland Dairy emphasizes safety, reliability, and team growth. Overtime, weekend hours, and holidays may be required; 401(k) with company contribution and paid time off are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility.
• Black Seal, High Pressure Boiler License preferred, preferably in food/beverage industry.
• Minimum one year experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC and/or HVAC.
• Minimum one year experience with lubrication, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control, process control and packaging equipment.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks.
• Must read, speak, and write in English.
• Must be able to legibly write entries for record keeping.
• Must be able to handle basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Care and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Complete planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment and utilities.

Weekly Wednesday - Saturday (12 hour shifts) 6pm-6:30am

JOB SUMMARY

Cumberland Dairy has immediate job openings for skilled plant Maintenance Technicians responsible for the care and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment. This position ensures the continued operation of machinery and equipment in an electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic capacity by completing planned and unplanned maintenance requirements on production, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Three years of experience required in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility
• Black Seal, High Pressure Boiler License preferred, preferably food and beverage industry
• Minimum one year experience with one or more technical experiences: Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC and/or HVAC
• Minimum one year experience with a variety of equipment including lubricating, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control, process control and packaging equipment
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English
• Must be able to legibly write entries for record keeping
• Must be able to handle basic hand tools
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend required for virtually the entire shift; occasionally required to climb or balance
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with capabilities to lift up to 80 pounds
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holiday
