Position Overview

The Plant Maintenance Manager is responsible for the coordination, planning, scheduling, and execution of all maintenance and repair work at our Columbus Quarry location in Fortson, GA.

Position Overview

The Plant Maintenance Manager oversees maintenance activities at the Columbus Quarry in Fortson, GA.

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Promote safety and lead by example.
  • Develop maintenance plans to optimize results, reduce costs, and improve safety.
  • Maintain mechanical knowledge of plant equipment, parts, sourcing, repair, and maintenance.
  • Manage information to build and execute maintenance plans.
  • Responsible for 2nd Shift Production, working a split shift.
  • Work with Purchasing to budget, track, and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Ensure availability of parts.
  • Meet daily with Plant Manager to review work orders and downtime issues.
  • Coordinate with Leadmen on work progress and issues.
  • Schedule maintenance staff and resources effectively.
  • Follow up on preventive maintenance activities.
  • Review oil sampling results.
  • Analyze budget data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain regular attendance.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications
Required Experience

5 years in plant maintenance and repair; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
