Zusammenfassung

Thunderbird Molding is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee facility maintenance and coordinate with production to deliver quality aluminum extrusion and machining services in Elk Grove Village, IL.

You will lead a maintenance team across multiple shifts, manage budget, maintain spares, and drive equipment upgrades on presses, CNC machines, and robotics to support on-time production and cost targets.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance manager or similar role.
• Knowledge of presses, CNC machines, and support equipment.
• Knowledge of tool room equipment (CNCs, EDMs, lathes, grinders).
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret tooling and part drawings.
• Ability to draft reports and correspondence.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from customers, subcontractors, and employees.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.

Aufgaben

• Maintain facility upgrades and maintenance on presses, CNC machines, robots, and other equipment.
• Analyze equipment needs, evaluate suppliers, and select new equipment to support production needs.
• Design and build end of arm tooling for robotics.
• Work with production to design and build automation and test equipment.
• Participate in Product Quality Planning teams as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Keep inventory of critical spares.
• Manage the budget.
• Manage the Maintenance team across multiple shifts.
