48forty Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the plant maintenance team, oversee preventive maintenance programs, and drive reliability of sawmill machinery and facility systems. The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, parts management, and safety compliance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Valid driver license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the plant maintenance team.
• Develop and improve preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs to minimize downtime.
• Identify equipment reliability improvements.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test adjustments.
• Manage vendors and spare parts inventory while controlling costs.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting, welding, and fabrication support.
• Support OSHA and plant safety processes and lead LOTO program.

Overview

As a Maintenance Manager, you’ll get to use your knowledge and enhance your skills while working on highly diversified machinery and facilities tasks and projects - including installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of specialized sawmill machinery and facility equipment and systems. This is a great opportunity for growth and advancement, and since it directly involves the production of our plant, this individual will be vital to our success!

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop the plant maintenance team
• Develop and improve preventative maintenance programs
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of machines and equipment to minimize downtime
• Identify equipment reliability improvements
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
• Manage machine vendors and spare parts inventory while controlling costs
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting, welding, and fabrication support as needed
• Provide support and training on all OSHA and plant safety processes and lead plant LOTO program

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge and skills
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
