48forty Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead and develop the plant maintenance team, oversee preventative maintenance programs, and coordinate emergency repairs to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, plus a valid driver's license for transportation to sites. You will work in a fast-paced environment where safety and cost control are critical.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the plant maintenance team.
• Develop and improve preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of machines and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Identify equipment reliability improvements.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Manage machine vendors and spare parts inventory while controlling costs.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting, welding, and fabrication support as needed.
• Provide training on OSHA and plant safety processes and lead plant LOTO program.

Overview

As a Maintenance Manager, you’ll get to use your knowledge and enhance your skills while working on highly diversified machinery and facilities tasks and projects - including installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of specialized sawmill machinery and facility equipment and systems. This is a great opportunity for growth and advancement, and since it directly involves the production of our plant, this individual will be vital to our success!

What You’ll Do
