Job Summary

Seeking a Hospital Facilities Maintenance Manager with a minimum of 8 years of hospital facilities maintenance experience, preferably in multiple trades such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Must have at least 3 years of supervisory experience. Responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating various functions of UT Southwestern Medical Center facilities with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field (may consider additional years of experience in lieu of education)
• Experience: 8+ years in related hospital facilities maintenance; minimum 3 years supervisory experience
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience as estimator or job superintendent preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project; knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry trades; ability to supervise staff; excellent judgment

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees and work flow, promote teamwork, and support professional growth
• Plan and review daily and shift operations, staffing, and scheduling
• Participate in hiring, conduct performance evaluations, and handle disciplinary actions
• Prepare reports, manage projects, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards
