Job summary

Lifestyle Communities (LC) is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the facilities and maintenance operations at a luxury apartment community, guiding a direct reports team to uphold high standards of service and safety.

You will manage work orders, handle emergency calls on a rotation, develop team skills, coordinate with vendors on capital projects, and support resident events to sustain customer satisfaction at LC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC Certification (EPA 608) and OSHA 10 certification required.
• 2+ years of residential apartments or facilities management experience with a maintenance team.
• Proven customer service delivery experience.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and ability to operate maintenance vehicles.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance technicians and groundskeepers; prioritizes and completes work orders.
• Handles emergency service calls on a rotation and assists with snow removal.
• Develops maintenance skills in team members (appliance repair, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
• Creates and executes preventative maintenance programs.
• Manages vendor relationships and assists with capital projects.
• Supports hosting resident events and maintains customer satisfaction scores.
