Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities in Chandler, AZ seeks an Interim Manager, Maintenance to organize and execute maintenance across the community and physical plant, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.

You will use Yardi for work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and support on-call emergency repairs. A high school diploma and 2 years' experience are required; HVAC certification is preferred. The role offers full-time hours with benefits.

Qualifications

• Senior Living property maintenance preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.

Responsibilities

• Establish and follow a preventative maintenance schedule for HVAC, elevators, life-safety equipment, sprinklers, generators, kitchen equipment, backflow preventers and asset preservation.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural issues.
• Utilize Yardi work order system to manage maintenance and repair issues.
• Maintain community vehicles and ensure proper driving credentials.
• Adhere to on-call requirements for emergency repairs or maintenance.

Job Description

The Interim Manager, Maintenance is responsible for organizing and executing the general operating maintenance and repair of the community and physical plant.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Establish and follow a preventative maintenance schedule on all systems including but not limited to: HVAC, elevator, fire life safety equipment, fire sprinkler, generator landscape, kitchen equipment, backflow preventers, testing of emergency systems, and asset preservation.
• Must be knowledgeable, capable of troubleshooting and able to identify issues arising with electrical/mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, structural issues, and painting.
• Utilize Yardi work order system to manage maintenance and repair issues throughout the community.
• Ensure that all community vehicles are maintained properly and kept in good working condition. Maintain required credentials to drive community vehicle as needed.
• Adhere to community on-call requirements for emergency repairs or maintenance issues.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• HVAC certification preferred
• A minimum of 2 years in a Property maintenance position
• Senior Living property maintenance preferred
• Advanced knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical
• Must be medically able and willing to wear a NIOSH-approved tight-fitting respirator (N95 mask), if required by and in accordance with federal or state regulations or Spectrum policy
