Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager for the Fairless Hills Terminal. You will lead the maintenance team, ensure tools and resources, and coordinate with the Operations Manager to implement systems, schedules, and procedures on site.

The role emphasizes safety, training, compliance, budget planning, and accountability for preventative maintenance programs. Travel may be required, and you will oversee contractors while maintaining documentation and achieving reliability goals.

Qualifications

• 10 years management of fleet/construction equipment, cranes, heavy-duty trucks or mining equipment with relevant OEM experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the maintenance team has required tools, parts, and resources to perform their job effectively and safely.
• Support the Operations Manager when implementing systems, schedules and procedures, and communicate these initiatives to the maintenance team
• Bolster morale on the maintenance team by providing comprehensive training, and recognizing the individual and team accomplishments
• Ensure all individuals receive compliance training
• Develop and implement a safety-meeting for maintenance and actively participate in facility safety drills
• Oversee all contractor work on site to ensure the contractors comply with facility standards and procedures
• Diligence maintaining paperwork and records, while following written procedure
• Inspect completed jobs for quality assurance
• Respond to unplanned operational and maintenance events
• Plan and budget maintenance activities to work within the O&M monthly budget
• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work process
• Diagnose operational problems and recommend corrective action
• Work with the management team to establish goals, priorities, and expectations, and to help develop the action plans and strategies for accomplishing them
• Develop and maintain Preventative Maint Program
• Perform other duties as required by Management
• Mobile equipment, conveyor, and crane maintenance experience
• Experience implementing and executing a maintenance plan
• Experience leading a maintenance team
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
