Position Overview

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for evaluating, performing, and managing aircraft maintenance to ensure safety, airworthiness, and market value. The role involves providing technical recommendations, maintaining current knowledge of aircraft and regulatory requirements, and managing maintenance activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic (A&P) certificate mandatory
• 2-4 years of experience in aviation maintenance on the specified aircraft type
• Flexible work schedule to meet flight profiles
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record

Main Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee maintenance, inspections, and repairs
• Ensure maintenance status is communicated to Flight Control and Maintenance Directors
• Manage outsourced maintenance providers and conduct on-site audits
• Ensure compliance with procedures and regulations
• Review and document maintenance activities accurately
• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
• Review applicable directives and service bulletins
• Maintain and update maintenance records and tracking programs
• Procure and compare maintenance quotes, prepare budgets, and process invoices
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal departments
• Represent Jet Aviation professionally in industry and regulatory engagements
