Job summary

Walmart’s Auburn facility in Indiana seeks a Maintenance/Logistics Manager to drive daily operations, supervise staff, manage budgeting and asset utilization, and ensure safety compliance. You will forecast staffing, monitor performance, and implement improvements to meet facility goals.

You will oversee maintenance equipment and building systems, enforce OSHA standards, and collaborate with leaders to hire, coach, and develop associates.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical certification plus 1 year supervising and developing managers or 3 years in a maintenance/tech environment with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience supervising across multiple departments and participating in hiring and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Drive and implement the business plan for area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (production, quality, safety).
• Forecast staffing, workload, and performance results to meet demands.
• Monitor expenses vs budget, asset utilization, and prepare business reports.
• Oversee maintenance department daily operations, equipment, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, NFPA, etc.).
• Lead and develop associates and leaders, provide feedback and growth opportunities.

Associate’s degree or equivalent technical certification (e.g., Maintenance, Controls, Electrical) and 1 year of experience in an operations, distribution, logistics, or retail environment with responsibilities including: supervising and developing managers/supervisors, managing workload across multiple departments, participating in hiring and promotions. OR at least 3 years of experience in a maintenance or related technical environment with the same leadership and staffing responsibilities listed above.

Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
