Job summary

Snack Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance execution, reliability programs, and team development at one of its three Piscataway plants.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on building strong maintenance systems, reducing downtime, and keeping a fast-paced food manufacturing operation safe and compliant. You will partner with Production, Engineering, and plant leadership to implement PM schedules, CMMS improvements, and supplier management, while coaching

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a food or consumer packaged goods environment.
• 3-5 years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance, CMMS, preventive maintenance, MRO, equipment reliability, and root-cause problem solving.
• Experience managing maintenance projects, equipment installations, budgets, vendors, and contractors.
• Working knowledge of GMPs and sanitary design principles.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with Production, Operations, Engineering, and plant leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs across production and facility equipment.
• Strengthen CMMS, MRO, and Operator Asset Care programs to improve reliability and eliminate recurring issues.
• Manage daily breakdowns, maintenance priorities, and response in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Partner closely with Production to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules and ensure work is completed effectively and on time.
• Lead maintenance and engineering projects involving equipment installation, upgrades, modifications, and facility improvements.
• Provide practical technical solutions that improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and maintainability.
• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance supervisors, technicians, and mechanics while building accountability and continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong safety practices and ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety requirements, company policies, and applicable regulations.
• Manage contractors, vendors, maintenance budgets, critical spare parts, and MRO inventory.

Snack Innovations, Inc. the maker of Drizzilicious and other fast-growing snack brands, is expanding its manufacturing footprint and looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and equipment reliability at one of our three production facilities.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to build strong maintenance systems, develop a capable team, reduce downtime, and keep a fast-paced food manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently.

The Opportunity

As Maintenance Manager, you will lead maintenance execution, equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, MRO, facility support, and team development at one of three plants in Piscataway, NJ.

Your work will directly impact production uptime, equipment performance, safety, food quality, operating efficiency, and the plant's ability to meet production goals.
