Job summary

Five and Fly is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance, reliability, and facility operations for a workforce housing camp in Monahans, TX. You will oversee lodging units, utilities, and site infrastructure, ensuring safety, uptime, and resident comfort during construction, commissioning, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in facilities or maintenance management, preferably in workforce housing or high-occupancy environments.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and controls systems.
• Experience leading teams, vendors, and maintenance programs in active environments.
• Proficiency with CMMS/work order systems and interpreting drawings/specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance activities across the camp during occupancy, including utilities and infrastructure.
• Maintain on-site presence and respond to requests and emergencies to minimize disruption.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance programs for high-occupancy housing.
• Supervise maintenance team and coordinate with external vendors safely and efficiently.
• Monitor critical systems to support continuous operations and resident comfort.
• Partner with site leadership to resolve facility issues quickly.
• Track work orders, costs, inventory, and performance metrics; report to leadership.
• Enforce safety, cleanliness, and quality standards throughout the camp.
