Job summary

IT8 is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for CNC Machining Services in Decatur, IL, leading an on-site team and serving as the primary contact for the customer’s maintenance and production teams.

The role starts in November 2026 for a 12-month project. Weekend-focused schedule with 40+ hours per week and overtime as needed, plus medical/dental/vision insurance and PTO. Must have valid US work authorization and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial CNC machine maintenance experience.
• 3+ years of maintenance team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of CNC systems, PLCs, hydraulics, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with preventive maintenance planning and CMMS software.
• Professional English proficiency (spoken and written) is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of four mechanical and electrical maintenance technicians.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for CNC machinery and automatic tool-changing systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and CNC control issues.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, equipment readiness, and operational priorities.
• Communicate directly with the customer and provide maintenance reports.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, including LOTO procedures.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager – CNC Machining Services to lead an on-site maintenance team supporting industrial CNC machining equipment in Decatur, Illinois, while serving as the primary point of contact for the customer's maintenance and production teams.

This position is expected to begin in November 2026 for an initial 12-month project assignment.

Schedule:

Weekend-Focused, 40+ Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of four mechanical and electrical maintenance technicians.

Preferred:

Experience with Siemens/Fanuc controls, gear-machining equipment, and industrial manufacturing environments. Spanish proficiency is a plus.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $35.00–$55.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule & Benefits

• Saturday and Sunday: 12-hour shifts each day.
• Remaining hours scheduled during the week (minimum 40 hours/week).
