Responsibilities

  • Manage associates responsible for maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Supervise maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Oversee scheduled maintenance for HVAC, elevators, fire and sprinkler systems, generators, landscaping, and kitchen equipment.
  • Coordinate resident maintenance requests and ensure timely repairs of plumbing, electrical, and heating issues.
  • Maintain building interiors and exteriors, including walls, floors, doors, and woodwork.
  • Communicate with regulatory authorities and ensure safety standards are met.
  • Assess and address property damage and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, with 2-3 years related experience or equivalent.
  • Valid State Driver’s License for vehicle travel.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

  • Standing, walking, sitting, and handling objects.
  • Occasional weekend, evening, or night work.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Potential exposure to hazards and need for travel.
