Come join us at Resort Group! Work and play in beautiful Steamboat Springs, CO, where no day is the same! You will use your skills and work with a close team of maintenance professionals to help us maintain and enhance our portfolio of properties, nightly rentals, and/or commercial facilities.

If you are an experienced maintenance manager seeking career growth, benefits, and perks, consider joining our team. We require a varied skill set, including staff oversight, budgeting, facility maintenance, computer skills, and basic facility repair/capital project knowledge.

Salary: $54,080 - $62,400 annually.

$500 + $500 sign-on bonus (after 90 days in good standing and with the appropriate skill set).

Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and grounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality control of work within your zone.
  • Review and approve timesheets for accuracy and prompt submission.
  • Identify future projects and needs proactively.
  • Update owner liaisons and directors on projects and major tasks.
  • Maintain HOA building plan archives.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding and recruitment.
  • Manage employee discipline and personal records.
  • Maintain HOA budgets.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in software to train staff on work order and timekeeping systems.
  • Coordinate purchase of uniforms and maintain automotive records.
  • Enforce safety policies and conduct property inspections to identify needed projects.
  • Provide updates to HOAs and upper management.
  • Oversee Maintenance department, including hiring and training Maintenance Leads.
  • Work with VP of Operations to meet HOA goals and develop departmental long-term plans.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and promote a safety culture.
  • Approve PTO requests for maintenance staff.
  • Direct workers in cleaning, painting, structural repairs, and grounds maintenance activities.
  • Prioritize and assign work orders, ensuring completion and quality standards.
  • Foster open communication and develop training procedures for staff development and safety compliance.
  • Maintain high standards for buildings, grounds, and mechanical systems.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs and conduct regular property inspections.
  • Build relationships with vendors for optimal service levels.
  • Manage tools, equipment, and supplies inventory.
  • Ensure work conforms to specifications and standards, and analyze work schedules and worker hours.
  • Interpret policies, enforce safety regulations, and suggest operational improvements.
  • Maintain accurate work and time records, ensuring proper billing.
  • Perform supervisory activities and maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
