Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-4 year technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of maintenance management experience.
• 10 years facility experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical (a plus), and hydraulic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and reliability of equipment, machinery and facilities.

Summary: As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and reliability of equipment, machinery, and facilities within an organization. Your role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency of operations, minimizing downtime, and promoting a safe working environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Includes the following:Exercise solid independent judgementSupervise and provide technical guidance to employees in compliance with accepted practices and standardsWork with engineering for specific processes and productsOversee all aspects of facility maintenance including plumbing, electrical/lighting, HVAC, and general building careOversee all aspects of Equipment maintenance of roll forming, welding, various auxiliary equipment, and pressesProcurement of stock repair parts, outsourced equipment repair, and any emergency or otherwise necessary items for maintenanceHelp initiate contact, and work with contracted service providers as necessaryProvide time-to-repair estimates to aid in production’s direction and effectively source any needed parts or materials in timely mannerConduct and/or make recommendations for employee trainingSchedule preventive maintenance, make amendments to work instruction, and manage approval of work requests in MMSWork with schematics, wiring diagrams, specification sheets, blue prints, and various other technical documentationAs a Maintenance Manager you will be a working Manager.Ability to create a scope of work for a project or a repair to go out for competitive bids with contractors.Maintain good working relationship with established contractors.Key performance indicators:Increased uptimeReduction of unplanned downtimeIntegral position to aid in the reduction in overall operational costReduced time to repair/complete work orders and pm’sEducation and/or Experience:2-4-year technical degree or equivalent work experience, Preferred but not necessary3-5 Maintenance Management experienceExperience in mechanical, electrical (a plus), and hydraulic troubleshootingMinimum years’ experience- 10 yearsFacility experienceIndustrial Machining experience (example: CNC Machining)Equipment experienceExperience managing others in an industrial environmentSkills:Basic computer skillsMaintenance management software experienceBasic math skillsstrong working knowledge of electrical, fluid, and mechanical systems
