Job summary

PJ Trailers Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for our Sumner, TX facility. You will direct plant-wide projects to boost machine uptime, efficiency, and production, while overseeing maintenance, repair, and overhaul of equipment and systems.

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on capabilities are essential.

Responsibilities

Directs employees to complete daily tasks to maintain and improve the overall environment of the plant, inside and outside. Manages all maintenance, repair and overhaul for the facility and its’ machines, and equipment, including ordering and procuring necessary materials. Supports safety initiatives and production. Initiate, implement, direct, and schedule machine preventive maintenance program.**Managerial Functions*** Prioritizes and delegates work to maintenance and facilities team* Clearly communicates expectations and holds subordinates accountable for performance* Demonstrates responsibility for budget and effective utilization of resources - plans and manages resources to maximize results**ENGINEERING AND ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS*** Develops, plans, performs, and coordinates a variety of engineering and administrative assignments to ensure company compliance with federal, state and municipal regulations* Oversee maintenance, repair, installation, and/or design of equipment* Suggests and directs engineering solutions or projects to improve safety, production, the facility environment, and culture.* *Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
