Job summary

Titan Florida, a Titan America subsidiary, is seeking a Maintenance Manager for its West Region in Florida. This salaried-exempt role reports to the General Manager and oversees daily maintenance procedures and repairs of ready-mix plants and mobile equipment.

Responsibilities include leading regional maintenance staff, budgeting, ensuring DOT-compliant records, and driving safety and efficiency across plants. Strong leadership and extensive maintenance background required.

Qualifications

• Min 10 years in mobile equipment and ready-mix plant maintenance.
• Thorough knowledge of diesels, transmissions, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• 2–5 years in supervisory or leadership roles.
• Strong math, Excel and fleet maintenance software experience.
• Excellent communication with groups and management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of all mobile and plant equipment.
• Apply preventative maintenance to maximize fleet efficiency and control costs.
• Hire, direct, coach and develop regional maintenance staff.
• Prepare annual repair and maintenance budgets for plants and equipment.
• Establish cost-effective inventory levels and approve parts purchases.
• Ensure accuracy of truck maintenance files per DOT regulations.
• Manage plant improvement and expansion projects.
• Support safety initiatives and drive zero-incident goals.

The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the daily maintenance procedures and repairs of ready-mix plants and mobile equipment.

• Responsible for the maintenance of all mobile and plant equipment.
• Apply approved preventative maintenance measures maximizing fleet efficiencies while controlling costs.
• Hire, direct, coach and develop regional maintenance staff.
• Prepare annual repair and maintenance budgets for all ready-mix plants and mobile equipment.
• Establish cost effective inventory levels, approve parts/material purchases and resolve budget variance issues.
• Ensure accuracy of truck maintenance files in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Manage plant improvement and/or expansion projects.
• Support organizational safety initiatives and drive the maintenance team towards zero incident rating.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School, (college degree preferred) with a minimum of ten years of job-related experience in mobile equipment and ready-mix concrete plant maintenance.
• Thorough knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Two to five years’ experience in a supervisory or other leadership role.
• Good math and computer skills (M.S. Office software including Excel) and working knowledge of fleet maintenance software, including DataStream and SAP.
• Excellent communication skills as he or she will be required to communicate effectively before groups of employees including management groups and must effectively direct the work of others.
