Job summary

Roers Companies is seeking a Maintenance Manager for our Naples, FL community The Karlyn. The role oversees general maintenance, supervises technicians, handles repairs in electrical, plumbing and appliances, and participates in unit turns.

Compensation ranges from $28.00 to $37.59 per hour plus competitive monthly commissions. A 2+ year track record in property maintenance and customer service is required; high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years property maintenance experience, apartment maintenance preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Provide own hand tools (list above) for daily tasks.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of multifamily buildings including occupied units.
• Supervise future maintenance technicians.
• Repairs in electrical, plumbing and appliances.
• Assist with unit turns including cleaning and painting.
• Snow removal and after-hours emergency response.
• Communicate professionally with Property Managers and Residents.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Compensation and Benefits for Maintenance Manager:

Pay Range: $28.00 - $37.59/hr. + competitive monthly commissions

Compensation is determined by several factors that vary depending on the position, including the individual’s experience, skills, and the knowledge they bring to the specific role.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of multifamily apartment buildings, including occupied apartment units.
• Supervise future maintenance technicians.
• Repairs in electrical, plumbing and appliances.
• Participation in cleaning and painting during unit turns.
• Snow removal
• Regular, professional, and courteous communications with Property Managers, Maintenance Managers, and Residents.
• On-call rotation; responds to emergency calls after hours and on weekends.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ year’s property maintenance experience (apartment maintenance experience preferred).
• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Provide own hand tools such as screw drivers, wrenches, pliers, drill, hammer, hacksaw, sockets, level, bits, tape measure, utility knife, flashlight and Allen wrench set.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff preferred.
