Hireology is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee manufacturing maintenance and ensure reliable plant operations in Modesto, CA. Pay Range: $96,975 - $161,624
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the above functions satisfactorily. The required levels of knowledge, skill and ability are described in greater detail in the following sections.
Technical Trade / College degree or equivalent and/or minimum of ten 10 years manufacturing maintenance experience with a minimum of 5 years experience in a food manufacturing environment and with 5 years minimum in a supervisory/exempt role. Must successfully complete on the job training including being able to learn and apply knowledge of production processes, raw material, and finished product requirements and specifications. Must have an electro/mechanical aptitude applicable to basic machinery maintenance and must posses a current forklift driver license.
Verbal and written communication skills are of importance as this position requires frequent and effective communication with plant and senior level managers, supervisors, other employees as well as senior management. Must also posses the ability to give thorough instructions and communicate effectively with department employees.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to take / read / calculate or otherwise measure temperatures, time and space (English and metric systems).
Must be able to solve common problems in a number of concrete standard situations; to give instructions; to create or interpret various reports; to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.
Ability to comfortably operate standard office equipment, including proficient operation of desktop computer applications/operating systems; welding equipment; presses; power tools and other equipment/machinery used in the maintenance or repair of industrial equipment. Must posses a current forklift driver license.
