Job summary

Palermo Villa, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager, Execution & Planning to lead a proactive, data-driven maintenance organization at our Milwaukee campus.

You will drive planning, scheduling, and execution across multiple manufacturing lines, partnering with Reliability Engineering to maximize equipment reliability and uptime. You will develop maintenance professionals, implement standardized processes, and deliver measurable improvements in maintenance performance while ensuring safety and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive maintenance leadership in manufacturing.
  • Experience leading preventive maintenance, planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Experience supervising and developing maintenance employees.
  • Strong CMMS knowledge and maintenance planning experience.
  • Experience using KPIs to improve maintenance performance and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily maintenance execution across multiple manufacturing operations.
  • Build and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Drive preventive maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution for equipment availability.
  • Improve CMMS accuracy, work order quality, and maintenance documentation.
  • Partner with Reliability Engineering to prioritize proactive maintenance activities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop maintenance supervisors, planners, leads, and technicians.
  • Manage maintenance labor, staffing, contractor activities, and overtime.
  • Use maintenance KPIs to improve equipment reliability, productivity, and OEE.
  • Promote a culture focused on safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Where you’ll work…

This position is based at Palermo's headquarters and manufacturing campus in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

You’ll spend significant time on the production floor partnering with maintenance technicians, production leaders, engineering, and operations to improve equipment performance, develop your team, and drive operational excellence.

What you’ll do…

As the Maintenance Manager, Execution & Planning, you’ll lead the execution of Palermo's maintenance strategy by building a proactive, data-driven maintenance organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading daily maintenance execution across multiple manufacturing operations
  • Building and improving preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Driving preventive maintenance completion, schedule compliance, and maintenance planning effectiveness
  • Leading maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution processes that maximize equipment availability
  • Improving CMMS accuracy, work order quality, and maintenance documentation
  • Partnering with Reliability Engineering to prioritize proactive maintenance activities
  • Leading, coaching, and developing maintenance supervisors, planners, leads, and technicians
  • Managing maintenance labor, staffing, contractor activities, and overtime
  • Using maintenance KPIs to improve equipment reliability, productivity, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Promoting a culture focused on safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence

What you’ll bring…
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Five or more years of progressive maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing
  • Experience leading preventive maintenance, planning, scheduling, and maintenance execution
  • Experience supervising and developing maintenance employees
  • Strong CMMS knowledge and maintenance planning experience
  • Experience using KPIs to improve maintenance performance and equipment reliability
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience
  • Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Reliability Centered Maintenance experience
  • Predictive maintenance experience
  • Experience supporting highly automated manufacturing operations
  • Professional maintenance or reliability certifications (CMRP, CMRT, etc.)
