The Galt House Hotel is looking for a Maintenance Manager to oversee daily operations and manage maintenance technicians on second shift.

Work Requirements

• Responsible for repairing plumbing fixtures and caulking bathtubs.
• Handle daily skilled maintenance tasks including electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and troubleshooting.
• Perform daily inspections of equipment.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms.
• Respond courteously to guest questions, requests, and complaints.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.
• Provide emergency and scheduled repairs.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders.
• Diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust.
• Perform plumbing and carpentry maintenance.
• Use hand and power tools, meters, and equipment.
• Support the entire facility with maintenance tasks.
• Report defective materials or conditions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and building systems.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Inspect grounds and equipment daily.
• Oversee major grounds projects.
• Conduct employee evaluations.
• Manage staffing, assign work, and set performance goals.
• Mentor and coach team members.
• Train staff in safety and compliance.
• Ensure staff are equipped and trained.
