About the role

Reworld is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, outage planning, and work management at a Thermomechanical Treatment Facility (TTF). This on-site leadership role reports to the Facility Manager and leads Mechanical and Electrical & Instrumentation teams, including supervisors and planners. The Maintenance Manager sets daily, annual, and long-term asset-reliability priorities; strengthens safety, preventive and predictive maintenance, mechanical integrity, and work-management practices; and delivers maintenance plans, outages, and improvement work across the site. At Reworld, you will lead work with direct operational and environmental impact by helping convert waste into renewable electricity and supporting a safer, smarter circular economy. This role offers the opportunity to develop skilled teams, improve plant reliability, and shape maintenance strategy at a company committed to sustainable waste and energy solutions. The successful candidate brings senior maintenance leadership in thermomechanical treatment, power generation, chemical processing, or continuous-process industrial plants. They will lead reliability, maintenance planning and scheduling, CMMS work management, outage execution, budgeting, spare-parts management, and continuous improvement. Success requires strong partnership with Operations, Engineering, EHS, Quality, and corporate Maintenance & Reliability teams, along with the ability to coach teams, resolve equipment issues, and improve plant performance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Lead a safety-first, environmental-stewardship culture across maintenance work. Partner with EHS to target zero incidents and improve site performance. Improve maintenance practices to reduce risk, increase productivity, and lower cost. Lead maintenance, reliability, preventive maintenance, work management, and continuous-improvement programs. Develop methods and procedures that improve operations and labor and material utilization. Select, assign, coach, develop, and evaluate maintenance-team members. Manage advanced Mechanical and Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance shops. Forecast attrition and lead workforce planning and hiring. Develop and maintain the five-year Long-Term Maintenance Plan. Maintain maintenance metrics that prioritize action and drive improvement. Develop supervisors, planners, craft personnel, and other leaders through coaching and training. Develop annual and monthly maintenance budgets and deliver against them. Identify and implement short- and long-term cost-management opportunities. Lead the site Work Management Program, including planning, scheduling, backlog management, prioritization, and execution. Support the CMMS and associated maintenance tools. Lead outage-planning processes and deliver outage scopes, schedules, and budgets. Identify gaps between reliability goals and plant performance. Resolve repetitive failures through root cause analysis, preventive and predictive maintenance, and reliability practices. Advance proactive work management and connect maintenance activity to business cost performance. Inspect equipment for operational conformance. Partner with management, engineering, operations, and quality-control teams to resolve maintenance problems and improve equipment performance.

Qualifications & Experience

Thermomechanical treatment facility maintenance experience, or a strong background in power generation, industrial, or chemical-plant maintenance. At least five years of maintenance-supervision experience. Engineering degree preferred. Demonstrated ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement change. Knowledge of maintenance budgeting, maintenance methodologies, and cost management. Experience managing spare-parts inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce downtime. Proficiency with ALM, PeopleSoft, or comparable CMMS tools, along with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, the National Electrical Code, and NFPA arc-flash safety practices. Proficiency in work-management processes, including planning, scheduling, and preventive maintenance. Experience planning and leading major maintenance outages. Thorough understanding of mechanical-integrity and quality-assurance practices and systems. Experience with the design, repair, maintenance, reliability, failure modes, or inspection of chemical-process equipment. Familiarity with Root Cause Failure Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Lean, 5S, and other reliability-improvement tools. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Routinely walk, stand, sit, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use hands throughout the workday. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Work at heights, climb ladders, use fall protection, and enter confined spaces. Qualify for and wear a full-face respirator. Work throughout active plant areas with rotating equipment, moving mechanical parts, electrical hazards, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, vibration, noise, dust, heat, cold, wet conditions, and varying weather. Perform manual tasks including pushing, pulling, sweeping, and shoveling.
