Position Overview

Based in Hebron, KY, the Maintenance Manager leads the mechanical maintenance department, overseeing repairs, maintenance, and capital projects for plant equipment. The role involves managing contractors, assessing equipment needs, managing budgets, and ensuring safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring safety and efficiency.
2. Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance.
3. Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, and inventory.
4. Coordinate with vendors and oversee capital projects.
5. Maintain facility and equipment, including engineering drawings and parts stock.
6. Prepare reports and manage budgets.

Qualifications

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR compliance).
• Four-year degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years supervisory experience.
• 10+ years maintenance experience in industry.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, piping, cryogenics, and high-pressure gases.
• Basic electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems.

Physical & Mental Demands

• Ability to work in an industrial environment, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and handle environmental hazards.
• Effective communication and mental capacity to perform duties.
