Job Summary

Maintenance Manager oversees all maintenance operations, ensuring equipment, facilities, and systems are efficiently maintained, safe, and operational while managing staff, budgets, and preventive programs.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all maintenance activities to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of equipment and facilities.

  • Supervising Maintenance Staff: Hire, train, and evaluate technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and performance standards, and providing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Develop and implement maintenance schedules, perform inspections, and oversee repairs of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and automated systems.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Track maintenance expenses, manage budgets, and ensure availability of spare parts, tools, and materials through forecasting and inventory control.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Operational Efficiency: Monitor maintenance KPIs, optimize workflows, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and costs.
  • Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Liaise with external service providers for specialized maintenance tasks and equipment servicing.
