We are hiring a Maintenance Manager in Fullerton CA. The Maintenance Manager will provide strategic leadership across all shifts for their assigned area in the advancement of the Asset Optimization elements as well as providing tactical leadership to the maintenance team for reactive, corrective, and planned maintenance activities. Studies, prioritizes, and schedules maintenance work for each shift ensuring equipment and facility is properly maintained and functioning as needed for business requirements. This role is a key leader in the delivery of production throughput, downtime, OEE, and cost attainment metrics across the site. The Maintenance Manager is a change agent and demonstrates servant leadership qualities.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead initiatives to mitigate human and food safety risks driven by reliability issues and ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Provide strategic leadership for critical business platforms, focusing on reliability, cost improvement, and identifying top losses through short-term and long-term projects.
  • Oversee and coach Supervisors on daily maintenance activities, ensuring coordination of reactive, corrective, planned, and condition-based tasks.
  • Drive cost improvements, budget forecasting, and assist in developing strategic Asset Optimization roadmaps in collaboration with leadership and finance.
  • Lead the improvement of maintenance KPIs, problem-solving initiatives, and equipment maintenance strategies through team input, breakdown findings, and condition monitoring.
  • Manage contractor/vendor relationships, communicate with stakeholders, and oversee the performance management cycle, including hiring, training, and evaluations.
  • Maintain flexibility in work schedule to provide facility coverage, manage multiple maintenance activities, and lead projects across departments, including specialized areas like refrigeration or automation.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of related leadership experience
  • Related course work in electrical, mechanical, or programmable logic controls.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. Ability to train all levels of maintenance positions.
  • Demonstrated organizational ability to handle project management, multiple tasks, prioritizing is necessary, and meeting required deadlines.
  • Good communication and effective, positive interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively in a diverse work group.
  • Previous Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required, preferably in the food industry.
  • Proactive in seeking solutions and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Willing to be involved as necessary with all shifts.

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $81,750 to $136,250 annually with eligibility for a 15% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
