Job summary

Green Alpha Property Management is seeking a full-time maintenance technician to support properties in Bay City and Freeport, TX. The role requires hands-on HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical work, and attention to preventative maintenance.

This position offers a 40-hour workweek with EPA HVAC certification and a valid driver’s license. Experience with AppFolio and MS Office is a plus; starting salary is $55,000 per year.

Qualifications

• HVAC, EPA certification required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to properties.
• Experience with AppFolio and MS Office preferred.
• United States work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Respond timely to requests/work orders and ensure efficient resolution; delegate as appropriate.
• Perform preventative maintenance across property facilities.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and landscapers to keep properties well run.
• Ensure HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, exterior systems are in good working order.
• Make sure units are ready for move-in via checklists and site visits.
• Update and maintain work orders using AppFolio.
• Keep properties clean and free of debris and trash.

Green Alpha Property Management is the property management business of a real estate management and commercial investment company headquartered in Wake Forest, NC and with a strong presence throughout the Southeast United States. In this full-time role (40 hours a week) you will be responsible for complex in Bay City & Freeport, TX. Salary range is $55,000 per year.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Respond timely to requests/work orders and ensure efficient problem resolution, and delegate as appropriate.
• Preventative maintenance
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and landscapers, and other parties to ensure a well-ran property management company.
• Ensures facilities and related systems are in good working order (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, exterior, etc.)
• Ensuring units are 100% ready for move in (checklists, physically visiting units, etc.)
• Updates and maintains work order management through AppFolio(our in house property management software)
• Maintains clean properties by ensuring that complexes are clear of trash and other debris.

Qualifications:

• HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical experience preferred
• 2+ years of maintenance experience
• HVAC, EPA certification required
• Various System Experience (excel, word, etc) required
• Computer experience required
• Strong desire to uphold personal honesty, integrity, and work ethic
• Maintains a passionate and enthusiastic attitude
• Drivers License and ability to drive to various properties
• Show Legal documentation showing ability to work in the United States
