Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent in a technical field preferred.
  • 5+ years industrial maintenance experience in conveyor/material handling environments.
  • 3+ years maintenance management/supervisory experience.

Job TitleMaintenance ManagerJob Description SummaryThe Production Maintenance Manager leads all maintenance operations within a highly automated material handling and production environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of conveyor systems, sortation equipment, automation controls, production equipment, and facility infrastructure.The successful candidate will oversee maintenance technicians and vendors, drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs, manage facility and equipment repairs, ensure regulatory compliance, support capital projects, and partner with operations leadership to maximize uptime and operational efficiency.Job DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Lead, coach, and develop maintenance teams.Oversee maintenance of conveyors, sortation systems, automation equipment, PLCs, VFDs, robotics interfaces, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure.Manage HVAC, plumbing, lighting, utilities, and building systems.Drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs through CMMS.Troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.Coordinate emergency repairs and minimize operational downtime.Analyze maintenance KPIs and reliability metrics to drive continuous improvement.Manage budgets, inventory, service contracts, vendors, and contractors.Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, safety, and lockout/tagout requirements.Lead safety initiatives, incident investigations, and corrective actions.Develop maintenance standards, SOPs, and best practices.Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, automation initiatives, and facility improvements.Provide maintenance and reliability updates to operations leadership and customers as needed.Participate in on-call support and emergency response activities.Qualifications:Qualifications Education & ExperienceAssociate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, or related technical field preferred.Equivalent combination of education, military experience, technical certifications, and applicable maintenance leadership experience will be considered.Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience supporting conveyor, material handling, manufacturing, production, distribution, or automated warehouse environments.Minimum of 3 years of maintenance management or supervisory experience leading technical teams.Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).Strong understanding of preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance methodologies.Technical RequirementsExperience troubleshooting and maintaining:Conveyor systems and sortation equipmentMotors, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, belts, and bearingsVariable Frequency Drives (VFDs)PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systemsPhoto eyes, sensors, scanners, and control devicesElectrical distribution systems up to facility operating voltagesPneumatic and hydraulic systemsRobotics interfaces and automated equipmentIndustrial controls and motor control centersPackaging, palletizing, or automated material handling systemsPreventive maintenance planning and executionRequired SkillsStrong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.Strong customer service orientation and partnership mindset.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to analyze maintenance KPIs, downtime reports, and reliability metrics.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS platforms.Strong organizational and project management skills.Ability to make critical decisions during equipment failures and operational emergencies.Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call support as business needs require. \"Cushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work.
