Join Our Team as a Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of our highly skilled and recognized team at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, FL. This position provides potential for growth and advancement within the company.

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for supporting the overall operation of Union Station and assisting the hotel's engineering department. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the exterior of the building, common areas, mechanical areas, and central plant operations
• Overseeing all guestrooms maintenance
• Conducting monthly safety inspections and training staff on safety and emergency procedures
• Working with contractors and vendors
• Responding to emergencies as needed
• Collaborating with Engineering Leaders on remodeling projects and capital expenditure needs

This role requires comprehensive maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting skills in building mechanical equipment, central plants, high-rise plumbing systems, electrical distribution, kitchen equipment, painting, and finishes.

Key Duties:

• Plan, organize, and direct maintenance activities
• Prepare and manage budgets and cost reports
• Develop and implement quality control programs
• Ensure compliance with building and safety codes
• Manage utility systems
• Maintain communication with Engineering Leaders
• Coach colleagues to reflect Hyatt service standards
• Lead the team to achieve exceptional guest service and colleague satisfaction
