Job summary

GEODIS in Dallas, TX is hiring a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance activities across facilities. You will supervise maintenance work orders, track hours, approve invoices, and coordinate with the accounting team to ensure accurate billing for services and projects.

The role requires a 4-year degree, 4+ years of related experience, and hands-on expertise in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and conveyor systems, with strong communication across organizational levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in electrical, plumbing, building systems, warehouse racking, HVAC, and general maintenance.
  • Experience with repairing conveyor systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to communicate with various levels of the organization as well as various levels of the customer’s organization.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and effectively use electrical diagnostic instruments.

Responsibilities

  • Supports management with maintenance needs and bills as needed.
  • Performs the contract maintenance for the assigned buildings.
  • Tracks all time and turns in weekly timesheets.
  • Observes all safety procedures to make certain that hazardous waste is properly disposed.
  • Analyzes, diagnoses, and recommend correction for Company and Customer equipment problems and breakdowns, including conveyor system and forklift fleet.

Work Schedule
Monday-Thursday; 6am-4:30am; On Call 24/7

Your role on the team:
