Mars UK is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance programs for our facility, including hiring mechanics, scheduling, and assigning work based on priority. The role requires training for mechanics in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, refrigeration, and ventilation systems.
You will develop and implement a CMMS program with preventative maintenance, parts management, and labor allocation, while ensuring equipment reliability and adherence to safety standards.
Job Description:
As a Maintenance Manager you are responsible for overall Maintenance programs for the Facility. The position manages the day to day Maintenance requirements. He/she is accountable to hire required mechanics, organize schedules, and assign work activity based upon priorities at hand. He/she performs training as required for mechanics to effectively work in the areas of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, refrigeration, ventilation and other building and equipment systems.
Additional responsibilities include the development and implementation of a CMMS program complete with a preventative maintenance program, parts management, work instructions and labor allocation.

Complete working knowledge of the manufacturing process, typically resulting from a minimum of one-year experience in related jobs.
This position has supervisory responsibilities.
This position works in a manufacturing setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. The employee is exposed to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
