Opportunity: Maintenance Manager

Manage general and preventative maintenance functions to ensure guest service and sustainability standards are achieved throughout the hotel.

Essential Job Functions

1. Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring compliance with brand or hotel standards and HHM core values.
2. Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
3. Manage bids, quotes, and contracts with 3rd-party vendors.
4. Oversee small projects and report on work progress.
5. Install or repair wall coverings, paint, and perform minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs.
6. Install, replace, and program televisions and other electronic equipment.
7. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and keep accurate records.
8. Maintain the hotel exterior and grounds, refurbish furniture, and ensure life safety systems are operational.
9. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and safety standards.
10. Aim to improve guest satisfaction scores and follow sustainability practices.
11. Follow safety protocols, wear protective gear, and adhere to MSDS and OSHA standards.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements

1. High school diploma and/or related trade school coursework preferred.
2. Previous supervisory or maintenance experience required or equivalent training.
3. Certifications may be required; HVAC certification is mandatory.

Work Environment and Schedule

• Schedule varies; may include holidays, weekends, or alternate shifts.
• Requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other physical activities.
