Job summary

Employbridge is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager to ensure reliability, efficiency, and safety of plant equipment in our automotive manufacturing facility. You will lead preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance strategies to support production objectives.

You will oversee operation and maintenance of all plant equipment, drive uptime, and manage installation and ramp-up of new lines. Strong leadership and robotics/PLC experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of all plant equipment.
• Support production by ensuring equipment availability and reliability.
• Ensure daily check sheets and maintenance documentation are completed.
• Lead installation, commissioning, validation, and ramp-up of new lines.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules using SAP PM.
• Oversee weekend, shutdown, and holiday maintenance activities.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for failures.
• Ensure timely repair and restoration of equipment.
• Monitor downtime and log it accurately.
• Review trouble reports and corrective action plans.

Job description

This role ensures the reliability, efficiency, and safety of plant equipment through effective preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance strategies while supporting production objectives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of all plant equipment
• Support production teams by ensuring equipment availability and reliability
• Ensure completion of daily check sheets and maintenance documentation
• Lead equipment installation, commissioning, validation, and ramp-up activities for new production lines and facility expansion projects
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules using SAP work orders
• Oversee execution of weekend, shutdown, and holiday maintenance plans
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment failures
• Ensure timely repair and restoration of equipment
• Monitor downtime and ensure accurate downtime logging
• Review and approve trouble reports and corrective action plans

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Proven ability to set goals and achieve results
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Hands-on experience with robotics and PLC systems
• Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance methodologies.
• Experience with CMMS systems such as SAP PM
• Knowledge of industrial automation, PLC, robotics, and controls systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of IATF 16949:2016, International Standard for Quality Management and VDA 6.3

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MiniTab, and scheduling/timeline software
• Experience in PLC programming for large-scale production lines or standalone equipment
• Experience in automotive or battery manufacturing environments
• Experience in new facility setup or plant expansion projects
• Ability to communicate in Korean, both written and verbal, is a plus but not required
