Job summary

Dart Container is seeking a hands‑on maintenance leader for our Ada, OK facility to build reliable systems, develop teams, and partner across the plant to improve uptime and performance.

You will drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, analyze downtime trends, and lead root cause investigations to implement permanent corrective actions. This role demands strong leadership and collaboration with Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience or equivalent.
• Experience improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using CMMS, SAP, or similar maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance, reliability, and facilities operations.
• Lead implementation and sustainment of reliability improvement initiatives to reduce equipment failures and improve asset performance.
• Drive equipment uptime through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Analyze equipment performance, downtime trends, and maintenance metrics using SAP, CMMS, and other reliability systems to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage maintenance technicians, employee development, and performance.
• Partner with Operations to prioritize maintenance activities and maximize production performance.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Manage maintenance budgets, backlog prioritization, and capital improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Support and execute the maintenance and reliability strategy for a thermoforming manufacturing facility while driving equipment uptime, preventive maintenance excellence, continuous improvement, and team development. What You’ll Do:

• Lead maintenance, reliability, and facilities operations.

Monitor and improve KPIs related to safety, quality, service, efficiency, equipment uptime, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment with proven results in improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Experience using CMMS, SAP, or similar maintenance management systems to manage work orders, preventive maintenance, and performance reporting.

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, controls, automation, HVAC, and facility systems.

Experience leading reliability programs, preventive maintenance systems, and root cause failure analysis.

• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering

Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification preferred

• Experience managing multi‑shift or continuous operations
• Chemical or plastics processing (thermoforming, extrusion, and/or injection molding), or packaging industrial experience
• Lean manufacturing experience

Experience leading capital improvement projects in a manufacturing environment

• SAP experience
