The candidate should have a formal machinist apprenticeship or 4+ years of related experience, strong safety mindset, and willingness to work a 24/7 swing shift. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• An apprenticeship or 4+ years as a machinist/industrial mechanic in a high-speed manufacturing environment, or 5+ years experience in lieu of apprenticeship.
• Journeyman-level training in maintenance of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinders, mills, lathes, belt sanders, bench grinders, EDM engravers, compactors and saws.
• Use precision hand tools and gauging tools to ensure part quality.
• Maintain safety and teamwork to meet production goals.
