Job summary

Ardagh Metal Packaging seeks a Mechanical Maintenance technician to setup, operate and maintain machine tools for production. You will rebuild, repair and overhaul equipment, read blueprints, and ensure precision in parts and tooling.

Daily inspections, welding/brazing as needed, and execution of preventive maintenance are required. The role supports production safely and efficiently in a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• Familiar with PPE and safety practices.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of metals and machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools for production.
• Rebuild/repair equipment and perform overhauls.
• Read blueprints and translate to setups.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools.
• Perform welding/brazing as required.
• Maintain and repair dies and tooling.
• Prepare materials and inventory for jobs.
• Collaborate with supervision on maintenance tasks.
