Job summary

Star Staffing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Machinist/Fabricator to support a Manufacturing Leader in California's Central Valley. The role involves machining, fabrication, welding, and general maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have hands-on mechanical aptitude, experience with shop equipment, and the ability to read blueprints. U.S. work authorization required for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Experience in manual machining, fabrication and welding.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and drawings.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills.
• Basic electrical knowledge and preventive maintenance familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathe, mill and drill press to machine components.
• Perform metal fabrication, welding (MIG/TIG/Stick) and assembly tasks.
• Repair, install and troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment.
• Design and fabricate custom components, tooling and guards.
• Conduct pipe fitting and layout on various materials.
• Support preventive maintenance and document inspections.
• Collaborate with engineering/production/quality teams to resolve issues.
• Assist with facility maintenance including carpentry and basic electrical work.
