Job summary

Lynker Corporation seeks a skilled Maintenance Machinist to support NDBC operations, including CNC setup, programming, and OMAX Waterjet work on metallic and non-metallic materials. The role emphasizes field service readiness, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with engineering teams.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in a machine shop, pass NOAA background checks, and hold a high school diploma with vocational-mechanical training. On-site work at NDBC facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a machine shop with CNC, OMAX, and metal/non-metal materials.
• Required ability to pass NOAA background check and obtain required clearances.
• High School diploma with vocational-mechanical training.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program and operate CNC machines and OMAX Waterjet to produce parts from drawings.
• Perform machining and fabrication on metallic and non-metallic materials.
• Weld components and perform machinery repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize machining processes.
• Provide field service support including installation, troubleshooting, and de-installation at NDBC sites.
• Prepare and maintain test and field documentation using Microsoft Office/Google tools.
