Job summary

Lincoln Electric, a leading welding solutions company, seeks a Machinist Maintenance for a primarily first shift role in Euclid, OH. You will machine, mill, and grind metals using conventional and CNC equipment, read drawings, set up tools, and ensure parts meet specifications.

You will work with group leaders and engineers, maintain safety practices, train junior machinists, and adapt to weekend/holiday schedules as needed. Strong measuring skills and initiative are essential.

Qualifications

• Must pass the skilled trade assessment test.
• Basic knowledge of reading mechanical drawings.
• Basic machining and grinding techniques.
• Ability to set up machine tools for precision parts.
• Ability to write/modify machine programs.
• Ability to use math to calculate dimensions and speeds/feeds.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, dial indicators.

Responsibilities

• Machine, mill, and grind metals per drawings and specifications.
• Set up equipment feed, speed and temperature for operations.
• Operate CNC and conventional machines to fabricate parts.
• Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Train less experienced machinists and collaborate with teams.
• Maintain safe, neat, and orderly records of work performed.
