Job summary

Rooms To Go is hiring a Maintenance Apprentice to support repairs and basic maintenance of existing equipment at our Nashville distribution center. You will participate in safety programs and learn to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems while performing building maintenance as needed.

Ideal candidates have minimal maintenance experience and basic mechanical knowledge, with strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to listen, understand, follow directions, and learn the mechanical systems in the distribution center.
• Ability to develop professional relationships with coworkers.
• Ability to follow the company policies and procedures.
• Ability to meet or exceed production standards.
• Ability to handle equipment safely.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Minimal maintenance experience
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
