Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties in Harlingen, Texas is seeking a Maintenance – Level I to uphold property upkeep and safety. The role involves keeping amenity spaces clean, maintaining grounds, and collaborating with management and staff on maintenance tasks.

You will attend morning meetings, coordinate vendor visits, and handle repairs as needed. A valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness for after-hours emergencies are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment.
• Willing to be on call for emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain amenity spaces and grounds to be clean and functional.
• Work with management to keep property safe and appealing.
• Attend morning staff meetings to coordinate daily vendor appointments and tasks.
• Communicate with maintenance staff and management on projects.
• Report maintenance concerns and perform repairs.
• Move heavy objects and may drive maintenance trucks on site.
• Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintenance – Level I

Location: Harlingen, Texas

What you’ll do:

• Ensure the amenity spaces are well maintained and working properly.
• Maintain grounds and keep them free from trash and debris.
• Work closely with management to maintain a clean, safe and appealing property.
• Attend morning staff meetings to communicate daily vendor appointments and required work.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with other maintenance workers, management and staff and work closely with them on all special maintenance projects.
• Report maintenance concerns directly to management and perform repairs.
• Move heavy objects, and may drive maintenance trucks to various locations on the property.
• Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Skills & experience you need:

• Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
• High school diploma or the equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment.
• Willing to be on call for emergencies that arise after hours.
