At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Maintenance Leader based in our Dallas, Texas beverage manufacturing facility! In this role, you will be responsible for the equipment maintenance plan and breakdown analysis execution of an assigned line. You will champion equipment reliability and performance and will be part of the line trio which has 24/7 ownership of the assigned production line, along with a Process Engineer and Production Line Leader.

Responsibilities And Tasks

  • Review and prioritize work orders and notifications within 24 hours of generation.
  • Ensure the work order backlog is current, sorted for reporting.
  • Lead the review of the previous job completion results, other maintenance activities and today’s plan in the Daily Meeting. Plans should be adjusted accordingly based upon scheduled work, scheduled work completion, and break in work.
  • Actively support and coordinate the planned stop, incorporating work orders and maintenance tasks into the Plan
  • Lead the scheduling of maintenance work for the next week.
  • Lead the scheduling of maintenance work for the next month as dictated by the annual maintenance plan and previously identified work.
  • Lead optimization with Line Leader/Process Engineer of startup and shutdown of line and major maintenance interventions
  • Ensure the revision and updating of “Maintenance Technical Documentation” occurs as necessary.
  • Create One Point Lessons (OPL) and train and qualify line team in maintenance activities.
  • Develop and update annual maintenance plan and calendar.
  • Ensure maintenance indicator results & in process measures are tracked and kept current.
  • Ensure results of maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and in process measures are used to assess the progress of the Maintenance Planning & Scheduling (MP&S) system and to determine equipment reliability. Results are shared with the department leadership in the monthly meeting.
  • Monitor the health of Preventative Maintenance (PM), Daily Management System (DMS), and recommend corrective action with line team Breakdown Elimination (BDE), MP&S, support Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Clean Inspect and Lubricate (CIL), Centerline (CL), Defect Handling (DH), workshop and facilities, lubrication, maintenance costs, parts usage, and life.
  • Develop improvement plans though the tracking of maintenance indicators & in process measures.
  • Ensures all equipment design change proposals (corrective maintenance), add/delete/modify work follows the Change Management (CM) procedures.
  • Confirm maintenance technical documentation and equipment drawings and schematics are complete, accurate, easy to find and easy to use.
  • Collaborate with the storeroom in order to identify obsolete parts, off quality parts, ideal in stock numbers, required delivery time of parts, etc.
  • Provides feedback to design on any new equipment or line speed changes.
  • Participate in vendor acceptance testing or other project work on new products or equipment.
  • Be a member of the PM pillar team as required and own a site PM system as required.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert that is called upon to support the team down the IWS path including coaching and developing other maintenance leaders both in the plant and within the network.
  • Deliver on SQCDMN daily/weekly/monthly/yearly goals and objectives through individual and team efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations (WISE) to ensure a safe working environment.

About You

  • You have a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or related field, preferred. In lieu of completed degree, candidates must have at least 3-5 years manufacturing experience with demonstrated technical aptitude and leadership.
  • You have fundamental knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling systems.
  • You have demonstrated knowledge and experience troubleshooting electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • You have analytical and problem-solving skills and fundamental skills in influencing and persuasion.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills associated with developing trusting relationships and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You have the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • You are proficient in the use Microsoft Office products and SAP.
  • You have the ability to work in a fluid environment and are able to identify problems, draw conclusions, and make recommended solutions.
  • You have the ability to be self-directed with little supervision.
  • You have ability to adjust schedule to support 24/7 Manufacturing Operation. Work schedules may include working overtime, graveyard shift and/or weekends as needed.
