To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Set the Strategic Direction: Develop and execute the Maintenance mission, vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap, ensuring alignment with Cummins Operating System (COS) principles and plant business priorities.
Drive Equipment Reliability: Lead TPM initiatives, optimize preventive maintenance programs, improve equipment criticality processes, and ensure effective shutdown planning to maximize uptime and operational performance.
Champion Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement reliability, maintenance, and process improvement opportunities that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
Develop High-Performing Teams: Build a strong maintenance culture through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, apprenticeship development, recognition, accountability, and employee ownership.
Deliver Business Results: Manage maintenance AOPs, budgets, KPIs, resources, and customer agreements to achieve operational and financial objectives.
Lead Capital Improvement Initiatives: Oversee capital projects from planning through execution, ensuring investments support long-term reliability, capacity, and business growth objectives.
Build Strong Cross-Functional Partnerships: Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, and leadership teams to resolve challenges, align priorities, and drive site-wide success.
Advance Standardization and Best Practices: Represent Maintenance across the site and broader organization by promoting benchmarking, knowledge sharing, standardization, and continuous improvement to elevate overall performance.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
A STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related bachelor degree or higher, required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Significant level of relevant work experience, including supervisory and leadership experience, required.
