Veolia North America seeks a Maintenance Lead for its Wastewater Treatment Plant in Alpharetta, Georgia. The successful candidate will perform essential operational duties related to repairing wastewater mechanical equipment, troubleshoot issues, and oversee a team in ensuring maintenance excellence and compliance with safety standards. Position Purpose:
Incumbent in this class performs operational duties related to repairing wastewater mechanical equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting wastewater equipment; determining schedules and equipment repair requirements; performing preventative maintenance; and installing new and rebuilt pumps, motors, augers, gear drives rollers, controllers, blowers, and heat-exchangers etc.
Wastewater Mechanic repairs wastewater equipment, inventories materials and provides lead direction to assigned staff in addition to repairing wastewater equipment. Incumbent in this class performs shift work as required.
