Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee a maintenance team at the Taftville facility. You will assign tasks, supervise associates, and ensure timely completion of repairs and inspections across equipment and facilities.

Ideal candidates bring welding, electrical, and hydraulic experience, plus a year of building maintenance and leadership history. This role offers a strong benefits package and growth opportunities within a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Welding knowledge preferred.
• Electrical and Hydraulic experience required.
• Minimum 1 year building maintenance experience.
• Prior leadership/management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee associates in assigned group and assign tasks.
• Report problems to management and maintain a positive environment.
• Assist mechanics/technicians in repairs of equipment and facilities.
• Repair and maintain stock pickers, pallet jacks, forklifts and batteries.
• Order parts for equipment and repairs as needed.
• Perform inspections and tests to ensure quality of repairs.
• Maintain brakes, wheels/tires, air/hydraulic systems.
• Train new associates and enforce safety rules.
