Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all equipment including Rheon’s, Conveyors, proof boxes, mixers, metal detectors, packaging machines, heat tunnels, refrigeration systems, forklifts, and building equipment.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and be approachable.
  • Help lead 5S projects to standardize maintenance practices and processes.
  • Assist in training employees on equipment operation.
  • Provide support to production, bakery, assembly, packaging, and warehouse.
  • Maintain a preventive maintenance (PM) program with documentation.
  • Perform other duties as needed by operations.
  • Report directly to the Maintenance Manager, with some direction from Production Supervisors.
  • Work 100% on the floor, including production, shop, outside, and building areas.
  • Work safely, using Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Be knowledgeable of HACCP, GMPs, OSHA, and SOP requirements.
Qualifications
  • Ability to perform all essential duties legally.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent; pursuing or completed a 2-year trade degree, or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
  • English language proficiency; bilingual is a plus.
  • Effective communication with team members and management.
Other Skills and Abilities
  • Attention to detail, good record-keeping, and data entry skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to order parts, schedule jobs.
  • Motivated, flexible, creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks; welding, fabrication, understanding of 3-phase electrical, motor controls, troubleshooting AC & DC drives.
  • Availability to work weekends and nights if needed.
Physical Demands
  • Regularly sit, use hands, talk, and hear.
  • Occasionally stand, walk, stoop, or crouch; lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required.
  • Possible exposure to various environmental conditions and hazards.

Starting Pay: $33.00/hr with shift differential for 2nd shift. Benefits include health, dental, 401(k), wellness, starting after 90 days.
