Responsibilities
  1. Ensure proper training, guidance, and development of maintenance team members.
  2. Collaborate on special projects with production and engineering teams.
  3. Coordinate with the storeroom to ensure proper kitting for scheduled jobs.
  4. Manage third-party repair work onsite.
  5. Identify warranty coverage scenarios for repairs, parts, or equipment failure.
  6. Assess daily line performance using RedZone in conjunction with supervisors.
  7. Train and motivate staff to follow safe work practices.
  8. Lead daily shift communication meetings.
  9. Own and oversee preventive maintenance activities, evaluating and optimizing them.
  10. Communicate upcoming work requirements to the team.
  11. Document work performed and complete all work orders in the asset management system (ManagerPlus).
  12. Assist with capital projects and machine rebuilds.
  13. Contribute to breakdown analysis to prevent recurrence.
  14. Train staff in problem-solving and breakdown analysis techniques.
  15. Recommend improvements to preventive maintenance procedures.
  16. Participate in plant asset management programs.
  17. Cross-train maintenance leads.
  18. Develop and implement strategies for maintenance operations.
  19. Read and interpret safety documentation, blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
  20. Write routine reports and correspondence.
  21. Rework and rebuild mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  22. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on plant equipment.
  23. Operate high-lift equipment and machine tools safely.
  24. Train and perform lockout/tagout procedures.
  25. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable of manufacturing processes.
  3. 4-6 years of mechanical/electrical technician experience; supervisory experience preferred.
  4. Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
